Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our web site, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into your basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and other major credit cards. We accept orders from the UK & Northern Ireland only.
Please note that until we have confirmed the order to you no offer of sale is made. In the event that we decline to process your order we will contact you by e-mail to say so.
Errors
All information provided By Nigel Hughes Photography On Line and it's representatives in whatever form or medium is provided free of charge and to best effort. No information is guaranteed 100% accurate and we do not accept liability should any information be detrimental to yourself or a third party. From time to time errors may occur, we're only human, and we will do everything in our power, within reason, to resolve them speedily.
In the extremely unlikely event that the wrong image, size, or quantity is received you must let us know within 7 days of signing for receipt. We cannot accept claims after that time.
Shipping & Returns
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ONLY DELIVER TO UK, IRISH AND BRITISH FORCES ADDRESSES.
RETURN POSTAGE CHARGES
If we send you the wrong item and the error is ours we will refund your postage costs. In all other return cases each party (Nigel Hughes Photography or the customer) is responsible for their own postage costs. We recommend that you should make sure you use a postal service that can prove we have taken delivery.
Delivery Time
Usually dispatch of printed image is 5 - 7 working day after the order is received. Orders received with special delivery postage will be printed and sent in 3 working days. If due to circumstances beyond our control that printing may take longer we will notify you by e-mail. Nigel Hughes Photography On-Line Gallery will not take responsibility if the item is delivered late due to postal services.
Duplicate Invoices
We can provide a duplicate invoice if it becomes lost but there is an administration and postage charge of £20.
Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event your order is damaged in transit please contact us immediately on the delivered date 01766 513612 on or by e-mail info@nigelhughesphoto.com . Please retain the original packaging for returning your order. We will arrange for a prompt replacement or refund, whichever is your preference.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach Pay Pal securer server. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Please note that until we have confirmed the order to you by e-mail no offer of sale is made. In the event that we decline to process your order we will contact you by e-mail to say so.
Any attempts to fraudulently use credit cards are handed to the police in the country where the fraud originated (whether UK or Ireland).
Internet buyers often worry about fraud when purchasing on-line but in 99% of cases it's the seller that looses out if there is fraud. A card holder can inform their credit card company, up to 6 months after the initial sale, that they didn't purchase the item. It's then down to the seller to prove they sent the items to the card holder or refund the value back to their credit card. For this reason we only send products to the card holders address or with an additional fax from a works fax machine on official work letter headed paper referencing your home address, send to the address you work at.
Tax Charges
All prices listed on this web site include UK VAT at the prevailing rate of 17.5% VAT.
Pricing
Prices stated on our Web Site Nigel Hughes Photography On-Line Gallery are only available through purchases made On Line. If in some way due to human error that the pricing for an image is wrong you will be offered to continue with your order at the correct price. This offer will be made to you by e-mail if no reply is received your order will be cancelled after a period of 3 Days.
SPAM
We only send out e-mails to customers who enrol on our mailing list. In no way whatsoever do will collect data from our site to send spam (unsolicited) e-mails. Once enrolled on to our mailing list you can simply e-mail us to remove your name off the list.
Privacy Statement:
ARCHIVED INFORMATION
After your order has been processed we have to keep copies of your order for credit card charge backs (up to 6 months) and for the Inland Revenue (up to 7 years).
We are committed to protecting your privacy and only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you to process your order and provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. Once on the list you have the option to withdraw your address at any time.
